Wild Police Shootout! Awesome!

Two thoughts:
1) Oh... so that's why I needed a police escort to my door on the way home from Barnes and Noble last night...
2) So, I officially do not live in Park Slope. Neat!

Me and Greenie saw a lot of the scene. There were about 30 bar patrons on their knees in front of Bar 4 with their hands over their heads getting searched, helicopters, 1 riot cop, detectives, police running around with flashlights, and absolutely no way to get home. Finally, an officer escorted me, Tara (also arriving home after midnight), and a couple of neighbors to our doors.
I bet I could get "wild police shootouts" for much cheaper rent in another neighborhood...
Also, maybe I should not walk home alone after midnight.
But of course, I probably still will.

My thoughts:

1. They should recind that raising-the-rent thing.
2. Ooh we're in Windsor Terrace too? Sweet! But then we can't call Greenie/Jack/Arusha/Jamie the Windsor Terrace Crew (or WTC). Ooh, we could call them JAG... or, more accurately but harder to pronounce, JJAG. And if they're JJAG, maybe we can be WTC. Or not.
3. Man, I miss all the excitement. Stupid being sleepy.
