My Cross-Train...
...IS IN MICHIGAN!
(East Lansing, not Ann Arbor).
Everyone is gonna totally be psyched when I bust out my Wolverines stuff in "State"-territory.
Mwahaha!
The office has like, 50 people in it. Fun on a stick!
It's also the regional director's office. (Of "Regional Director Dude" Digging a Hole Blog fame.)
Wahoo!

is 50 people big or small? it sounds big...how long are you going there?
Big. My office has 8 people.
And I'm going for like, a month-ish. I'll come home after St. Patrick's.
Coolness. East Lansing is, after all, the "arts, cultural and recreational center of mid-Michigan" (City of East Lansing official website).
Have an amazing time!!! Don't forget to blog or call us. :)
hooray for having a location for your CROSSTRAIN! (i think it sounds intimidating and cool when you do the voice most fitting with caps lock)--- too bad you're not going to Texas--- Michigan should kick ass, though. are you bringing all of your parents gear or do you have enough being a U MI kid? probably the second.
Do you think the regional director dude is going to try to forcibly bond with you? (and i don't mean that in as scary a way as it sounds)--- but like, "Hey Kerry, I hear you're doing such a great job and i wanted to see your great job for myself. so you can start an office... in texas..."
anyhoo. have an amazing time. get clean water and other good stuff!
Yeah, I think the forcibly bonding thing is definitely going to happen. East Lansing is the office where CDITs go (canvass directors in training), so it's actually bizarre that I am going there at all. We actually had a meeting last week and it was all "you need to commit through the summer" and "you need to become a senior field manager (SFM)" etc. I hope this isn't too scary. On the cool side, the dude I am staying with in East Lansing called my CD and was all, "Is Kerry a cool XT? Will she hang out at night?" and my CD replied that I am "exceptionally cool." Werd.
